Ooni Of Ife Forgives Sunday Igboho

iexclusive News Nigeria reports that the Palace of the Ooni of Ife,Thursday, declared that the monarch, Adeyeye Ogunwusi has forgiven Sunday Igboho over his derogatory statement against the monarch.

This online news medium recall that Sunday Igboho, had Tuesday, claimed that the Ooni of Ife, along with other Yoruba leaders, were going behind to collect dollars from the presidency and had failed in speaking truth to power.

 

He has, however, apologised but denied claims that he is working for some politicians.

 

Meanwhile, the palace disclosed that Ooni of Ife was not concerned by the abuses of words rained on him by Sunday Igboho.

 

This was contained in a statement by the Ooni’s Director of Media & Public Affairs, Comrade Moses Olafare on Thursday, in Ile-Ife, Osun State.

 

“Sunday Igboho still remains a son to Ooni. Baba has already forgiven him because he had tendered an apology via a video clip he produced via social media yesterday evening.

 

“Even though the way and manner Sunday had behaved was sacrilegious to the Oduduwa throne but he has already apologized and I can confirm that Arole Oodua has forgiven him, because there is no perfection in humanity.”

 

Onifade divulged that Olugbon of Ile-Igbon and Vice Chairman, Oyo State Council of Obas and Chiefs, Oba Olusola Alao who had called Igboho to advise and warn him of the consequences that might follow his misconducts towards the Spiritual Head of Oduduwa Race whose sons and daughters are the Yorubas he claimed to be fighting for.
