1. The immediate past Chief of Army Staff, Lt. Gen. Tukur Buratai (rtd), has admitted that the President gave him an appointment because of the relationship between his father and Buhari. Buratai stated this yesterday during a gala night organized by the 29th Regular Course Association in Abuja.

2. President Muhammadu Buhari on Monday said that China’s support has strengthened Nigeria’s effort against COVID-19. Buhari also expressed satisfaction with the progress made so far as China-Nigeria relations clock 50 years.
