Court Grants Bail to #EndSARS Protesters Accused of Armed Robbery, Arson

 

iexclusive News Nigeria reports that a Magistrate Court sitting at Yaba, Lagos, has granted bail to Nicholas Mbah and Ugwumba Chikiezie.

 

Nicholas and Chikezie were remanded in Kirikiri Prison following their involvement in the Lagos leg of last year’s #EndSARS protests.

 

Nicholas and Chikiezie are standing trial for alleged armed robbery, arson and public disturbance.

 

Ruling on the bail application filed on behalf of the defendants by their counsel, the court admitted the two suspects to bail in the sum of N50,000 and two sureties in the like sum.
