Yoruba Nation Rally Live in Ojota, Despite Police Presence
Yoruba nation protesters at Gani Fawehinmi Park, Ojota
Hundreds of protesters have gathered at Gani Fawehinmi Park in Ojota for the Yoruba Nation march.
According to iexclusive News Nigeria, the protestors appeared while the Lagos Commissioner of Police, Hakeem Odumosu, was briefing journalists about why the protest could not take place.
The demonstrators have yet to identify with any secessionist party, although they can be heard yelling, “We demand Yoruba Nation!”
The protesters screamed, “We are weary of being raped, we are tired of being killed, give us our Yoruba nation now.”
Protesters also chanted, “No turning back.”
In addition, the police are chasing passer by and arresting protesters .
