Buhari Orders Military To Crush Bandits

Following the latest bandit killings in Zamfara and Kaduna states, President Muhammadu Buhari on Saturday ordered a crushing response from the military.

iexclusive News Nigeria reports that President Buhari, in a statement provided by his spokesman, Garba Shehu.

Condemned serial bandit deaths in the two states and asked the military to respond to the troubling situation in a language that the bandits understand.

The President also urged for a resolute response to the death of innocent individuals in rural areas.

The President, who conveyed the nation’s grief at the loss of life, encouraged security services to do all possible to prevent similar acts in the future.

He, on the other hand, stated that the nation, its military, and the entire populace must muster the fortitude required to confront the robbers and terrorists.

The President stated that the military and other security services were now developing new procedures and policies that were already generating positive outcomes in many of the country’s difficult areas.

President Buhari, who criticised some politicians for making security statements solely for the purpose of garnering acclaim, urged them to join the ongoing genuine efforts aimed at finding long-term answers to the nation’s difficulties.
