Tunde Bakare: No More Visits To Aso Rock, It’s War Now

Tunde Bakare, the senior pastor of Citadel Global Community Church, has declared war on President Muhammadu Buhari’s administration, stating that he will no longer pay him visits.

iexclusive News Nigeria reports that the angry preacher did not mention President Muhammadu Buhari by name in his current rant, but Pastor Bakare previously stated that he visited Mr. Buhari to counsel him on national matters, but that the president frequently ignored his advice.

PastorBakare, who earlier claimed God informed him Buhari was going to stabilize Nigeria, said he was now ready for war and no longer interested in meeting with Mr. Buhari at a church service on Sunday.

“I’m no longer interested in meeting you; no more visits.” Now it’s war because Nigeria must be set free,” Pastor  Bakare declared, addressing Mr. Buhari.

“I challenge you to come after me because that is the current style,” he added. It’s possible you’ve done it to others. If you touch me, you’re about to learn a lesson.”

“If you know what I’ve been up to behind my back, tell me. If you can, I dare you to chase me down. I collaborated with you, worked for you, and helped you get there (where you are). I now have a stinky mouth when I speak.”

The clergyman emphasized that calls for independence were motivated by injustice and inequity.

“We must recognize that the unrest is the result of a lack of fairness and equity. Pastor Bakare believes that when there is justice and equality, unrest would subside.

“How can you devote so much time and effort to Igboho and Kanu? Nigeria’s issues are not Igboho and Kanu. No one can prevent Nigeria from restructuring.”

Mr. Buhari’s media assistant, Femi Adesina, accused religious leaders of preaching hate and spreading falsehoods about Mr. Buhari’s administration in April.
