The Supreme Court confirmed Rotimi Akeredolu of the All Progressives Congress (APC) as the winner of the 2015 gubernatorial election in Ondo State on Wednesday.
The appeal by Eyitayo Jegede and his party, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), was dismissed by four of the seven-member panel because it was incompetent, according to Justice Emmanuel Agim’s majority decision.
