PDP Govs To Hold Emergency Meeting Thursday
Following the present leadership crisis in the opposition Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, governors elected on the platform will convene in Abuja on Thursday for an emergency meeting.
iexclusive News Nigeria reports that C.I.D Maduabum, the Director-General of the PDP Governors’ Forum, said this in a statement on Wednesday.
The emergency meeting was called by the forum Chairman and Governor of Sokoto State, Aminu Tambuwal, in conjunction with his colleagues, according to the statement.
It was stated that the 5 p.m. meeting would discuss recent developments in the PDP.
The forum urged all PDP members and stakeholders to be patient as efforts were made to ensure the party’s stability in the coming days.
