BREAKING: Sowore’s Younger Brother Shot Dead In Edo

Omoyele Sowore, Publisher of Sahara Reporters, the younger brother has been shot.

On Saturday morning, Sowore shared the news on social media.

He said his brother was attacked while returning from Igbinedion University in Okada, Edo State.

“On his way from Igbinedion University in Edo state, where he is studying Pharmacy, my immediate younger brother, Olajide Sowore, was shot and murdered today near Okada in Edo state by allegedly herdsmen/kidnappers.”

“Yet another actual human being has been slaughtered! Dr. Mamiye, may you rest in peace! This act alone will not postpone their day in court.

“As a child, I traveled much with you and our father. You were the most well-liked and active child I’d ever met. Mr. Magnet, you had no adversary! Mr. Sunshine Foundation, you’re the one that made everyone happy.

“You, the boy who sneaked out his elder siblings to parties and took full responsibility when our strict father found out.

“You, the out-of-the-box thinker who decided education wasn’t for you and developed your own kind of music, only to return to school when you were almost 50!

“You dedicated your life to ensure that everyone was okay, but now you’ve been assassinated by everything that isn’t okay! The worst day of my life!”

The police have yet to respond to the event, which has sparked much discussion on social media.
