‘Hunger Humbled You’ – Nigerians Slam Fani-Kayode Over Defection To APCP

iexclusive News Nigeria reports that Nigerians have criticized Femi Fani-Kayode, a politician, for joining the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC, despite his previous criticism of the party.

As he delivered Fani-Kayode to President Muhammadu Buhari at the Presidential Villa in Abuja on Thursday, Mai Mala Buni, Chairman of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Caretaker Committee, confirmed Fani-defection. Kayode’s

This online news outlet gathered that following the meeting, Fani-Kayode stated that his defection was ordered by God as he was guided by the spirit.

Nigerians on social media have slammed him, calling him a “hungry” politician and a horrible role model who should be humiliated for defecting to a party he formerly opposed.

Here are peoples reactions:

@VillageBoy “We’ve already known right from the time that Fani Kayode is anywhere belle face. Na Jonathan announcement remain.”

@Deji Adeyanju “Fani-Kayode is a very bad role model for upcoming Nigerian politicians, too undisciplined and unprincipled. He is not only unstable but lacks character. How can a man bring so much disgrace and disrespect to himself because of what he will eat? This is someone who wished Buhari dead.”

@Abidemyola “ It is indeed shameful that Fani Kayode will be accepted into the folds of APC. I think all well-meaning progressives should condemn this move. We do not need a Fani-Kayode to win future elections, he is more of a liability

@DarklightHQ “ I’ve always known that that man is a traitor, stooge, saboteur. When Obasanjo said “Fani-Kayode is my boy, give him food and he will sing” people no understand.”

@Konis_v “Obasanjo don talk am since say Femi Fani-Kayode Na ATENu, give him food and he will misbehave on your behalf.”

@AdeoluBankole “Despite all your grammar and criticisms. Done deal, 2022/23 New season transfer.”

@TommyB “ Femi Fani-Kayode had returned to the APC, if you’re one of those that choose to die for Nigerian politicians, know that your death will only be in vain.”

@Ayemojubatr “Hunger finally humbled Femi Fani-Kayode..”

@Vajime “FFK is not to be trusted.”

@CyObi “ Before now we know you, I never for one day took any of his talk serious, because I know him to be someone they are bankrolling always, he lacks integrity so much. You think Buhari trusts you? No way!

@Demzie “Fani-Kayode has discovered his grazing route out of sapa and joined APC.”

@Chimenem1 “I am not surprised to hear this, he is broke and need to be carried along.”

@Afeezgunners “This shows that there is no permanent enemy when it comes to politics. The gullible supporters should take a clue from this.”

@Slimmizie “This guy is shameless and frustrated, see him wit is Agbada, he will come here and be saying nonsense again.”

@saveur “ Here we go, FFK to APC done deal. They’ve been rumours for months and today he’s officially an APC member. Good luck to more bridge building projects.”
