Jos Crisis: I Won’t Kill My Father Because Of Religion – Speaker

Jos Crisis: I Won’t Kill My Father Because Of Religion – Speaker

Hon. Abok Ayuba Nuhu, Speaker of the Plateau State House of Assembly, says he will not kill his father because they practice different religions.

The member representing Jos North-North in the Assembly, Hon. Ibrahim Baba Hassan, organized a one-day peace parley with the theme “Mutual Coexistence; Panacea for Peace and Development,” which was held at Lamonde Conference Hall in Jos.

Those who claimed to have fought in the state because of religion were lying, according to the speaker, who said they were hiding under the banner of religion for personal gain because no faith promoted violence.

He, on the other hand, urged residents of the state to unify and live in peace with one another, regardless of ethnic or religious identity, because nothing beats peace.
