NASS Member, VIPs Sponsoring Kanu, Igboho – Buhari

President Muhammadu Buhari has revealed that some of the funders of Nnamdi Kanu and Sunday Igboho, have been identified.

iexclusive News Nigeria reports that the President announced in his speech Friday to commemorate the country’s 2021 Independence Day that a serving member of the National Assembly had been recognized as one of the country’s secessionists sympathizer.

This online news outlet gathered that, Buhari said his government was pursuing the funders aggressively, claiming that the accused sponsors had abandoned their leadership responsibilities for what he called selfish greed.

“The recent arrests of Nnamdi Kanu and Sunday Adeyemo, as well as the ongoing investigations, have revealed certain high-profile funders behind these individuals,” the President remarked.

“We are investigating these funders aggressively, including one who has been recognized as a member of the National Assembly. This is an excellent example of people abdicating their national leadership responsibilities for personal benefit.

“Instead of preaching unity, they support and mislead our youth into committing illegal acts that result in the tragic and pointless loss of life and property.”
