Yul Edochie, a Nollywood actor, has praised Tiwa Savage for her role in the leaked sex tape saga, saying she has inspired many people who are victims of blackmail.

 

On his verified Instagram page, the actor posted a photo of Tiwa Savage and praised her for her bravery.

 

The singer had posted a photo of herself on Thursday night with the comment, “Charge that sh*t to the game and never speak on it again.”

 

Though she didn’t say what or who she was talking to, it’s worth noting that this remark comes three days after her claimed sex tape became a viral sensation.

 

Yul Edochie praised Tiwa for her handling of the situation, saying, “I commend you @tiwasavage for the manner you handled the issue.”

 

“You may not realize it, but you’ve inspired a lot of other people who may be dealing with blackmail in silence.”

Tiwa Savage said two weeks ago that she was being blackmailed by an unknown person who threatened to leak a sex tape with her and her current lover during an interview with American OAP Angie Martinez of Power 105.1.

 

The blackmailer wanted money from the Koroba singer in order for her not to release the sex tape, but she refused to pay the money.

 

A sex tape was posted online on Monday night. While the male in the video’s face was not seen, the lady in the video has a striking similarity to Tiwa Savage.

 

As soon as the video went viral, users on a variety of social media platforms took to their accounts to express their thoughts on the matter.

 

Some celebs have shown their support for the singer by posting her image and congratulating her on Instagram.

 

However, some celebrities, such as actress Georgina Onuoha, have argued that such supporters have done the artist a harm with their acts.
