GIJ Student Leaves Suicide Note After Losing GH¢200k In Forex Trading

After losing GHC200,000 in online forex trading, a final year student at the Ghana Institute of Journalism (GIJ) has vanished and left a suicide note.

iexclusive News Nigeria reports that according to Nancy Asante Bannor’s roommates, a buddy who has been trading forex for long time has become an agent through whom a large number of individuals, including her church members, have invested in the site.

They said they returned from church Monday night to find a note from a friend detailing her hardship and the fact that her clients don’t seem to think the investment has been emptied on the trading platform.

Miss Asante Bannor wrote in a note seen by Starrfm.com.gh, “I don’t know what the night has in store for me or what awaits me, but the only thing I wish for right now is death and nothing else.”

“Please implore God to forgive me and, if at all possible, to grant me a second opportunity.” I couldn’t kill myself at home, which is why I returned, and I can’t do it here, either. Please pardon me.”

The matter has been reported to the Adabraka Police… Below is the note.
