IPOB,ESN Not Responsible For Planting Bombs In Igboland – Emma Powerful

IPOB, the Indigenous People of Biafra, accused Nigerian security forces of planting Improvised Explosive Devices (IEDs) across the Southeast on Wednesday.
The IEDs, according to IPOB spokesman Emma Powerful, were planted to accuse its members and militia arm, the Eastern Security Network, ESN.

IPOB,ESN Not Responsible For Planting Bombs In Igboland

IPOB and ESN allegedly planted IEDs at Awo-Mmamma, Oru East Local Government Area, Imo State, according to the Nigerian Army and Police.
Powerful claimed in a statement that the Army and police falsely claimed they prevented IPOB and ESN attacks with IEDs since the bombs were not from the separatist group.
“The global family of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), ably led by our great liberator and prophet, Mazi Nnamdi KANU, has been drawn to the fallacious and laughable statement from the Nigeria Army and Police.
Claiming that IPOB/ESN operatives planted IED in Awo-Mmamma and its nearby community, Mgbidi in Oru East of Imo State,” according to Powerful.
“The false claim that military thwarted IPOB/ESN attacks on two Imo communities and discovered IEDs should be ignored. Nigerian security authorities have made another desperate but failed attempt to implicate IPOB and ESN operatives.
It did not come as a surprise to us, though, because it has been their stock in trade for quite some time. This is another another outright lie.
“For the record, IPOB and ESN operatives have never planted IEDs in any area of Biafra land, and have no plans to do so in the future.” ESN has never been involved in any terrorist activity since its founding by our leader Mazi Nnamdi KANU in December of last year. Its mission has not changed: to preserve our ancestral lands from invasions by Fulani herders and robbers.
“It’s ludicrous for security agencies to try to link IPOB or ESN to the planting of IEDs when Nigerians are well aware of who the IED-planters are.” The Fulani terrorists and outlaws are known for planting explosives.
“Assuming but not admitting this nonsense, who do we wish to kill if we have to resort to the planting of IEDs?” What do we hope to accomplish? How can we be so naive as to start planting bombs that will kill our people, whom we risk our lives every day to protect and defend from Fulani terrorists?
“How come these shameless liars claiming to be security agents are only quick to discover IEDs purportedly planted by IPOB and ESN but fail to detect the same IEDs planted by Fulani bandits and terrorists that have claimed thousands of lives in the North, including security operatives themselves, despite the fact that they are primarily from Southern Nigeria?” It is now evident that these terrorists dressed in military and police clothes are collaborating with their ragtag colleagues in the woods to attain the same goal. In their eagerness to implicate IPOB and ESN, these jihadists and terrorists in security uniforms deployed to Biafra land are currently busily laying IEDs while betraying Southern troops operating in the North.”
