Insecurity: China To Send High-Level Security Experts To Nigeria – Envoy

China has offered to send a high-level delegation of criminal investigation experts to meet with Nigerian security agencies in response to the country’s insecurity.

iexclusive News Nigeria reports that Cui Jianchun, the Chinese Ambassador to Nigeria, made the announcement on Wednesday in Abuja while speaking to journalists on the sidelines of the China-Nigeria friendship award ceremony for students at Ahmadu Bello University Zaria.

Cui stated that China’s move was part of its support for addressing Nigeria’s insecurity, and that security experts were expected to arrive soon.

“China’s Central Government is deeply concerned about the security situation in Nigeria, as well as the Chinese nationals in the country.”

“We’re working hard to figure out how to get support from China.”

I believe it affects every Nigerian, and I believe it is not only about the Nigerian people and government, but we also require international assistance.

“As a result, the Central Government has decided to send a High-Level delegation of criminal investigation experts with real-world experience.”

“They come to Nigeria and talk to the people and the government about how they can work together to overcome the challenge,” Cui said.

Prof. Kabiru Bala, Vice Chancellor of Ahmadu Bello University (ABU) Zaria, thanked both the Chinese and Nigerian governments for their assistance in combating insecurity.

“Please accept my heartfelt thanks for the government’s efforts.”

When we started noticing signs of insecurity on campus, we paid a special visit to the Inspector General of Police.

“I am pleased to say that the response was well received by other government agencies and security agencies.”

“There are some things I may not mention publicly, but suffice it to say that the response was very positive.”

“The Inspector-General deployed a large number of reinforcements, both in terms of equipment and men, around the Campus.” “The Campus has been secured so far,” Bala said.

According to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN), the award is part of the Chinese Embassy’s “Oct. 1 Scholarship for Nigeria-China Friendship.”
