2023 Presidency: Why IBB Endorsed Osinbajo

2023 Presidency – Former Military President General Ibrahim Babangida has endorsed Vice President Yemi Osibanjo’s presidential candidacy in 2023, saying he is a good man to lead Nigeria.

iexclusive News Nigeria reports this was stated by IBB when the Osibanjo Grassroot Organization paid him a visit at his Uphill Residence in Minna concerning 2023 Presidency.

“I am very familiar with the Vice President. He is a decent man. A man who is passionate about Nigeria; a man who can communicate with the people and inspire them. Such a man is deserving of the opportunity to work with. Nigeria requires a good leader.”

He described Osibanjo as a man who is passionate about his country, adding, “Nigeria is also a good country; the people of Nigeria are good.” You must learn to understand and communicate with people. And constant discussion is essential.

“I’d like to send my best wishes to the Vice President via you.” And I’d like you to tell him to stick to the cause. I know it’s not easy, but he’s determined. “I wish him all the best,” Babangida said.

This online news outlet stated that concerning the 2023 presidency the elder statesman also revealed that he decided to speak with them because of the Vice-President, claiming that he knew Osibanjo possessed the qualities of a good leader.

Mr. OJo Foluso, the Organization’s National Convener, expressed his delight at the former military leader’s endorsement, saying, “we came to consult the Oracle, and the Oracle has spoken.” Because he understands Nigeria, General IBB is an oracle.”

He also stated that the group would continue to put pressure on the VP to declare interest in running for president in the general election in 2023.

In his speech, the Team Leader, Chief Emma Ejiofor, stated that the Osibanjo Grassroot Organization visited was ready to work with the advice of prominent citizens such as Gen. Babangida, particularly because of their in-depth knowledge and understanding of the country.

“At this time, Nigeria is in desperate need of leaders who are committed to the country’s development and growth,” he added.
