Garba Shehu Tests Positive For COVID-19
Garba Shehu, Senior Special Advisor to the President on Media and Publicity, tested positive for COVID-19 and is being treated.
iexclusive News Nigeria reports that the presidential spokesman, who confirmed the news to Channels Television on Saturday, stated that he is fine but is undergoing treatment.
Garba explained that he has mild symptoms of the disease, revealing that he is already isolated and will undergo additional tests to determine his status.
However iexclusivenews reports that Garba Shehu had been fully vaccinated against the virus prior to his positive status.
He also revealed that the Permanent Secretary at the State House, Tijjani Umar, and a few others in Aso Rock had undergone COVID-19 tests but had refused to reveal the results.
