On Friday, President Buhari Will Sign The 2022 Budget

iexclusive News Nigeria reports that President Buhari is scheduled to sign the 2022 Appropriation Bill on Friday, December 31st, barring any last-minute alterations.

Mr Garba Shehu, the President’s Senior Special Assistant on Media and Publicity, verified this to Channels TV on Tuesday, December 28.

According to him, the National Assembly has sent the Appropriation Bill for 2022 to the President, who will sign it into law by 10 a.m.

This comes just a week after the National Assembly’s House of Representatives and Senate chambers passed a N17.126 trillion budget, raising the benchmark crude price from $57 to $62 per barrel.

Nigeria would be able to maintain its one-year budget cycle if the Appropriation Bill is signed before the end of the year.
