BREAKING NEWS: Apongbon Under Bridge On Fire

On Wednesday, a fire ravaged stores beneath the Eko Bridge Apongbon area in Lagos State.

iexclusivenews reports that according to our correspondent the fire started as early as 4am.

The fire caused traffic congestion and slowed economic activity in the Lagos Island section of the state.

Though the origin of the fire could not be determined at the time of filing this report.

It was learned that the inferno damaged products worth millions of naira.

“To connect the inner marina, traffic from the Eko bridge has been rerouted to Ebute-Ero.” Firefighters and other security personnel are still on the scene. As a result, the CMS bridge and the Eko bridge inbound/outbound to Apongbon are currently closed to traffic,” the Lagos State Traffic Management Agency said.

CAUTION: Pls if coming from that axis take care and if possible find an alternative route..
