BREAKING: Buhari Begs Asuu To End Strike

Muhammadu Buhari, Nigeria’s president, has pleaded with the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) to consider the plight of students and call off its ongoing strike.

Buhari made the appeal on Thursday at the 19th National Productivity Day Celebration at the state house conference centre, Abuja

He also called on the National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS) to exercise patience as the federal government works on resolving the crisis.

The appeal to students comes amid threats by them to block roads across the country if the issue was not resolved soon.
