Amber Heard has expressed her heartbreak after her ex-husband, Johnny Depp, won a defamation case against her.
iexclusivenews reports that Amber Heard issued a statement following the Fairfax County Court’s decision in favor of the American actor on Wednesday.
This online news outlet understands that millions of people around the world watched the seven-week trial in support of either party.
Heard said her disappointment “is beyond words.” As “the mountain of evidence still was not enough to stand up to the disproportionate power, influence, and sway” of Depp.

iexclusivenews Nigeria reports that the actress described it as a setback. Adding that she is more concerned about what the decision means for other women.
Heard added that her loss also turns back the clock to a time when a woman who spoke up might be publically humiliated and disgraced.
“It sets back the idea that violence against women is to be taken seriously”, she wrote.
Heard believes Johnny’s attorneys succeeded in getting the jury “to overlook the freedom of speech and ignore evidence that was so conclusive that we won in the UK”.
“I’m sad I lost this case. But I am sadder still that I seem to have lost a right I thought I had as an American — to speak freely and openly”, the statement added.
Meanwhile, iexclusivenews Nigeria reported that Fairfax County, Virginia jury concluded that Heard defamed Depp in her 2018 Washington Post op-ed.
The jury found that Johnny Depp proved all elements of defamation. And awarded him $15 million in his defamation lawsuit against ex-wife Amber Heard,
