Police react as twitter users raise alarm over the kidnap of Ameerah and 16 other abuja residents by uniformed men
iexclusivenews reports that the Federal Capital Area Police Command has responded to a tweet by Ameerah Sufyan reporting a kidnapping in the territory.
This online news outlet understands that the Tweep, @ameerah sufyan. Stated in a tweet that she and 16 other city residents were kidnapped and taken to a wilderness.
However, iexclusivenews Nigeria reports that Sufyan claimed that men in police uniforms kidnapped her and 16 other victims. Including three pregnant women and two children, from various sections of Abuja.

She had shared her location with her WhatsApp connections. According to the post, and her kidnappers had not seen her phone.
In response, FCT command spokesperson Josephine Adeh stated that the command has drafted. The Tactical and Intelligence apparatus to rescue the victims and identify those responsible for the alleged event.

She, on the other hand, stated that there had been no new reports of kidnappings in the FCT, contrary to Sufyan’s tweet.
In response to journalists’ questioning, the PPRO state. “There was no formal report of any abduction/kidnapping in The FCT today.”
Although many web accounts label the event as an alleged kidnapping, this has to be one of the most unusual cases of its sort.
