Father Mbaka Returns To Adoration Ministry 8 Months After Suspension

Rev. Fr. Ejike Mbaka, a fiery Enugu Catholic Priest, has apologized and prayed for Labour Party Presidential candidate Mr. Peter Obi, saying he will never be Nigeria’s President.

iexclusivenews reports that father Mbaka apologized after claiming that Peter Obi will never be President of Nigeria.

This online news outlet understands that during his most recent sermon at the Adoration Ground. He stated that unless God ceases to exist, Obi will never smell the President’s seat. Adding that it was preferable to have an old man as President than a’stingy young man.’

Nigerians reacted angrily to the Catholic priest’s comment, accusing him of disliking Peter Obi because he refused to give to his church.

The clergyman, however, stated in a statement that he personally signed that he did not intend to defame His Excellency, Peter Obi’s image, but rather to pray for him.

As a result, he apologized to Peter Obi and his followers and prayed for God’s blessing on them.

“For the Adoration Ministry in Enugu, Nigeria, I am grateful to God for His unquantifiable and favorable blessings, miracles, love, and life.”

I guarantee God’s people and Nigerians that I am praying for good governance and leadership in this country, and that God will provide us with leaders who are like Him.

“As things stand, Nigeria faces inconceivable insecurity challenges, an incalculable unemployment crisis, immense corruption, horrible crimes, and unfathomable misery brought on by lousy leadership.”

In everything we are going through in this challenging time, I bear with my fellow countrymen and women. I implore the adorers and the entire people of God to join hands in prayer, asking God to save us from the devil’s and his agents’ schemes.

“I am a servant of God, and my goal is not to defame His Excellency, Peter Obi, but to pray for him.” In his life, may God’s will be done. I pray to God, whom I serve, to provide decent and wonderful leaders for our dear people, who will care for them and guide them to the promised land. I will support whoever God chooses to be our leader. In this regard, I extend my best wishes to His Excellency Peter Obi and his followers, as well as the other candidates and their supporters, all of whom have the same goal of providing Nigeria with competent leaders.

If my words have hurt Mr Peter Obi’s followers in any way, or if I have been misunderstood by them in any manner, I ask for their forgiveness and understanding.

It is for this reason that I long for decent administration and capable leaders to look after them. In our country, we are going through incomprehensible, horrible, and unjustified hardship. I’m hoping for divine help.
