1. To end the case of the kidnapped railway passengers in Kaduna State, President Muhammadu Buhari has increased efforts through kinetic and non-kinetic means. In a statement headed “President Buhari Directs Urgency in Dealing with Kidnapped Railway Passengers’ Case,” Malam Garba Shehu, the president’s Senior Special Assistant for Media and Publicity, announced on Tuesday.

2. On Tuesday, the country’s fuel shortage got worse, forcing drivers to spend hours at gas stations in Lagos, the Federal Capital Territory, and other areas. For oil marketers, increasing the price of the product at the pump is the best way to address the nation’s growing fuel line problems.

8. Yesterday, the new Minority Leader was announced as Senator Philip Tenimu Aduda (FCT). The statement was made in a letter that the Senate President, Ahmad Lawan, read aloud during Tuesday’s session.

9. Yesterday, President Muhammadu Buhari connected the Indigenous People of Biafra, or IPOB, to pipeline and oil theft. In an interview, Buhari said that IPOB’s acts of destruction and oil theft are to blame for Nigeria’s daily output limit not being met.

10. According to Godwin Obaseki, the governor of Edo State, Nigerians are looking for an alternative to the two leading political parties in the nation, the Peoples Democratic Party and the All Progressives Congress. Obaseki also highlighted that the country’s political landscape was changing in an interview with African Independent Television about the recently held Ekiti governorship election.
