BREAKING: Terrorists Attack Soldiers At Checkpoint Near Zuma Rock
Terrorists has attacked a military checkpoint, Thursday night, near Zuma rock in Niger State.
iexclusivenews reports that the location, near Madalla town, is close to Zuba, along the Abuja-Kaduna highway.
This online news outlet understands that the insurgents arrived at the spot some minutes after 7pm and opened fire on the troops, killing some.
However, iexclusivenews Nigeria reports that a source told Daily Trust that they took control of the area for about 30 minutes.
The gunmen kept firing as they moved in the direction of the expressway’s Kaduna axis.

Police officers and soldiers from Zuma Barracks have been sent to the area.
Days prior to the tragedy, in Abuja, terrorists engaged the Presidential Guards Brigade on the Kubwa-Bwari route.
The Nigerian President is guarded by the Brigade, an elite division of the Nigerian Army.
