Peter Obi On CNN Says Nigeria’s Problems Are Solvable
Peter Obi, Labour Party (LP) presidential candidate, has said that the problems facing Nigeria are solvable
iexclusivenews reports that Mr Peter Obi, believes that the country’s problems are solvable, emphasizing the importance of having a leader who is competent and committed to solving them.
Obi made the revelation during his interview on Cable News Network, an American media business (CNN).
During the interview, Zain Asher, the anchor of Zain Exchange, who described him as the most popular candidate among young people, asked,
“Nigerians are used to being disappointed by their leaders; can all of Nigeria’s problems, which are corruption, oil theft, insecurity, physical… be solved by one person?”

In response to the question, Obi said,
“If we have a competent leader, who has the capacity, and commitment to deal with it. No one will solve it overnight. But there will be clear, visible, measurable attempts to deal with it. And they are solvable things”.
Some things can be dealt with decisively.”When asked what his plan is to lead Nigeria out of its current economic crisis. Obi stated that the first thing that needs to be put in place in the country is security.
