Nnamdi Kanu, the leader of the proscribed Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) has been discharged and acquitted.
iexclusivenews reports that the Appeal Court sitting in Abuja discharged Mr Kanu who has been in detention for several months on Thursday.
“Appeal allowed, Onyendu Mazi Nnamdi KANU, discharged and acquitted.
“We have won. Victory victory victory victory,” Ifeanyi Ejiofor, Mr Kanu’s lawyer said in a facebook post after the judgement on Thursday.
