On Wednesday evening, Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu stormed the home of his predecessor, former Governor Akinwunmi Ambode, to celebrate his 60th birthday with him.
According to The Publisher Nigeria, this was revealed in a video posted on Twitter by Sanwo-Chief Olu’s Press Secretary, Gboyega Akosile.
Earlier this month, Babajide Sanwo-Olu congratulated Ambode on his 60th birthday, which falls on June 14th.

Sanwo-Olu praised Ambode for his administrative acumen and valuable contributions to the public service sector in Lagos State in his message of felicitation, which was released on Tuesday by his media adviser, Akosile.
The governor lauded Ambode’s accomplishments as former Accountant-General and ex-Governor.
He emphasised Ambode’s importance in promoting the growth and development of Lagos State.
“On behalf of my adorable wife, Ibijoke, the government, and the good people of Lagos State, I join family, friends, and political associates of my predecessor, former Governor Akinwunmi Ambode, to wish him a happy 60th birthday,” Sanwo-Olu said.
“Mr Akinwunmi Ambode dedicated his young and adult life to the service of Lagos State, first as a civil servant and later as our dear Lagos State’s 14th Governor.”
