Moyo Lawal Breaks Silence on Leaked Tape Scandal, Vows to Sue Culprits
LAGOS, (iexclusivenews) -Nollywood star Moyo Lawal has finally spoken out about the leaked tape scandal that rocked the internet on Saturday.
The actress revealed that the video was recorded with her former fiancé and was never meant to be seen by anyone else.
Moyo also threatened to sue those who distributed the video without her permission.

In a lengthy Instagram post on Sunday, Lawal expressed her shock and dismay at the unauthorized release of the video, which she said was a violation of her privacy and trust.
She explained that the video was done with her ex-lover, who she had planned to marry, and was only for their eyes.
“A private video of mine from a while ago has been inappropriately shared without my consent, violating my privacy and trust,” Lawal wrote.
“I want to emphasize that this video done with my ex I was to marry at that time was never intended for public consumption and its unauthorized distribution is a breach of my personal boundaries. However, this criminal breach of privacy will be treated with legal action.”
The actress also defended her s3xual choices, saying that she had always maintained a celibate and conservative lifestyle, despite being in the entertainment industry.
She said that she had refused to date often and preferred to be alone most times.
“It really hits me funny because I have always maintained a strict approach to my s3xuality, even going as far as being celibate for a few years, refusing to date often, and choosing to be alone most times,” Lawal said.
Despite the unfortunate incident, Lawal said that she would not let it break her spirit or stop her from pursuing her dreams.
She thanked those who supported and understood her during this challenging time and asked them to keep showing her kindness and goodwill.
“However, I am determined to not let this unfortunate incident break my spirit. I appreciate the support and understanding of those who have reached out to me during this challenging time. Please know that your kindness and goodwill means the world to me,” Lawal concluded.
