Bldr. (Dr.) Odegade: A Land Promise Made At Lagos State Children Quiz Competition Fulfilled, Receives Pan African Award

(Dr.) Abdulhakeem Odegade was at the Lagos State Children Quiz Completion event anchored by Queen Irene Onwuka of Peace Foundation, which was supported by Akmodel Homes and Properties sometimes in September, 2023.

At the event, Dr. Odegade gave his word to award a plot of land to the overall winner of the competition and the pupils from Oriwu Junior Model College, Ikorodu came out tops. This promise came to pass on

Monday 27th May, in the spirit of Nigeria’s Children’s Day Celebrations, both LEMBOYE AbdulRahim Oluwajomiloju and AGBEDE Oyindamola Elizabeth pupils from Oriwu Junior Model College, Ikorodu became the latest landlords as they were awarded a plot of land each at Akmar Hilltop Estate Ibeju Lekki axis of Lagos State.

 

It was a thrilling experience for them because according to Queen Irene Onwuka; “This is the first time since the inception of the programme that promises made to them were fulfilled, we never believed it could be true and becomes a reality.”

It is noteworthy that the land was supposed to be for a winner but Dr. Odegade in his magnanimity went ahead to give both of them (overall girl and boy winners).

In the vein, Builder (Dr.) Abdulhakeem Odegade became the latest recipient of the Global Impact Achievement Award For Africa’s Most Resourceful Value-driven Real Estate CEO Of The Year 2024.

The award was given to him at the Pan African International Investment Conference/Awards which took place on Sunday May 26th at their annual event held at Oriental Hotel, Lagos.

This award according to the organisers was to appreciate him for his selfless and countless services not just in the real estate space but also in the society at large.
