JAMB Releases 3,921 Additional Exam Results, Reschedules Exams

iexclusivenews – In a strategic move to facilitate the growing number of Direct Entry (DE) applicants, the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has announced an extension of the DE registration deadline to June 17, 2024.

This decision aligns with the Board’s commitment to inclusivity and is a response to widespread appeals for an extension.

Expanded Registration Venues to Ease Process

To ease the registration process, JAMB has broadened the network of registration points, now including Professional Registration Centres (PRCs) in high-demand states.

This expansion is a testament to JAMB’s adaptability and its dedication to accommodating every prospective candidate.

Kwara State features centres at the JAMB National Headquarters Annex and the University of Ilorin CBT Centre.

In Osun State, candidates have access to centres in Alekuwodo, Oroki Estate, and Gbongon.

Final Call for DE Registration

JAMB urges all eligible candidates to seize this final opportunity for registration, emphasizing that the criteria for DE registration remain consistent with previous announcements.

Special Consideration for Kwasu Diploma Candidates

Following discussions with Kwara State educational authorities, JAMB has initiated a special registration exercise for 3,633 candidates previously excluded from the 2024 UTME.

These individuals are encouraged to register at approved CBT centres within the next week.

Supplementary UTME Scheduled

A supplementary UTME is set for June 22, 2024, for specific candidate categories, including those affected by the CAILS-KWASU program, candidates under investigation, and those with unverified fingerprints.

Release of Withheld Results and Exam Misconduct Cases

JAMB has released 3,921 previously withheld UTME results.

However, 322 candidates have been identified for examination misconduct, bringing the total to 43″.

Rescheduled Exams for Non-Compliant Centres

For centres that failed to meet JAMB’s standards, 24,535 candidates will retake the exam on June 22, 2024, in their chosen towns.

Candidates can check their results by texting RESULT to 55019 or 66019.

Those rescheduled for supplementary exams can print their notification slips starting June 4, 2024.

Conclusion: JAMB’s Proactive Measures

With these measures, JAMB demonstrates its proactive approach to ensuring that all candidates have the opportunity to fulfill their academic aspirations. The total results released now stand at 1,883,350, and the Board remains steadfast in upholding standards while supporting candidates’ ambitions.
