NAF Jets Annihilates 80 Terrorists in Katsina

iexclusivenews – The Nigerian Air Force (NAF) has delivered a significant blow to terrorist forces in Katsina State, with the air component of Operation Hadarin Daji successfully executing precision airstrikes that have resulted in the elimination of over 80 terrorists and the destruction of more than 45 motorcycles.

Intelligence-Led Operation

On June 15, an intelligence-led operation targeted a notorious terrorist hideout within the Faskare Local Government Area.

The NAF’s Director of Public Relations and Information, AVM. Edward Gabkwet, confirmed the successful strikes were based on credible intelligence reports.

The operation took place under the cover of darkness, where NAF pilots identified and engaged terrorists actively burning homes approximately five kilometers from Gidan Kare Village.

The ensuing chaos and escape attempts by the terrorists on motorcycles provided a clear target for the skilled pilots.

Further reconnaissance revealed the location to be a convergence point for terrorists planning subsequent attacks on neighboring villages.

With swift authorization, NAF pilots carried out decisive strikes at 9:40 pm, resulting in a substantial terrorist casualty count and equipment loss.

Disruption of Terror Networks

Post-strike intelligence has linked the decimated group to notorious terrorist leaders Yusuf Yellow and Rabe Imani. These successful operations have significantly disrupted terrorist activities in the region, showcasing the NAF’s commitment to eradicating threats to national security.
