EDUCATION: LASU Hikes School Fees 

iexclusive News Nigeria reports that going forward LASU has increased school fees.

The Lagos State University has revealed that there would be price increase for New intakes into their University, LASU, Ojo.

It was revealed that new students will pay the sum of N67, 048.50k as fees in the coming academic year.

As against the N25,000 previously paid by stale students and the increase is about 168.2 per cent which will take effect immediately.

The University emphasised that students who will be promoted to the next level 200 and above when the new session starts next year, would still pay the old rate of N25,000 that is the school fees.

Every old students in the university, whose previous school fees is N25,000 will continue to pay that until they graduate.

Mr Ademola Adekoya, whose the Coordinator, Centre for Information Press and Public Relations, revealed, that the new rate would apply to only new intakes.

The Time Higher Education, (THE) recently ranked the University second-best in the country.
