Buhari Orders Police, Soldiers To Shoot Anybody With AK47
iexclusive News Nigeria reports that the President Muhammadu Buhari in reaction to the kidnappings in Zamfara state and other parts of Nigeria, has ordered officers of the Nigeria Police Force (NPF) and soldiers of the Nigerian Army to shoot “anybody caught with AK47/sophisticated weapons in Nigeria.”
This online news platform reports that the Senior Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, Garba Shehu, made this known during an interview with BBC Hausa on Wednesday, March 3, 2021.
In a tweet monitored by iexclusive News Nigeria, Abdulbaki Jari, the Social Media Producer for BBC Hausa service, quoted the Presidential spokesman to have made this comment while speaking to BBC Hausa.

The Social Media Producer for BBC Hausa service tweeted: “Zamfara kidnappings: President Buhari has ordered that anybody caught with AK47/sophisticated weapons in Nigeria should be shot – Garba Shehu tells BBC Hausa,” the tweet added.
Meanwhile, this is coming barely 24-hours after the Federal Government led by President Buhari declared Zamfara state a no-fly-zone. The President also announced a ban on all mining activities in Zamfara state to curb the rising insecurity in the area.
