Army Refutes Attack On Sunday Igboho’s Home
The Nigerian Army has condemned the attack on the home of Yoruba independence hero Sunday Adeyemo, better known as Sunday Igboho.
iexclusive News Nigeria reported that unknown gunmen invaded Igboho’s home in the early hours of Thursday.
At around 1:30 a.m., gunmen dressed in military uniforms stormed Igboho’s residence and destroyed valuable valuables in the building.
During the attack, seven people were slain and his wife was kidnapped, according to reports.
Blood spilled in the activist’s home, according to footage monitored from his home.
In response, the Nigerian Army’s spokesman, Onyema Nwachukwu, denied any involvement in the incident.
Nwachukwu told reporters he was unaware of the occurrence.
“There isn’t anything like that, and I don’t have that information.
“There was no attack on Igboho by soldiers,” Nwachukwu stated.
