How NURTW Leader Was Killed At An APC Rally In Lagos
On Thursday, the Vice Chairman of the National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW) in Lagos State, Samuel Kayode, well known as Epo Kinkin, was assassinated.
iexclusive News Nigeria reports that Mr. Samuel was attacked by unidentified assailants while attending an All Progressive Congress rally in Lagos State’s Agboju district.
According to sources, a gunshot was heard during the gathering, prompting residents and rallygoers to flee.
The corpse was eventually discovered in a pool of blood inside the rally hall.
The incident was confirmed by Jimoh Buhari, the spokeswoman for Lagos State NURTW chairman Musilu Akisanya ‘MC Oluomo.’
“He was sheltering another politician, Wale Yusuf, from persecution when the gunmen shot him dead,” he explained.
The Lagos State Police Command has yet to publish a press release on the incident.
