Why Sunday Igboho Was Chained By Benin Security Agents
One of the attorneys for Yoruba freedom warrior Sunday Adeyemo, also known as Sunday Igboho, Olusegun Falola has revealed why the agitator was shackled by Benin Republic security officials.
iexclusive News Nigeria reports that Falola revealed that Sunday Igboho was shackled to prevent him from unexpectedly disappearing.
Beninese security officers were warned that Sunday Igboho may transform into a cat and flee, according to Falola.
“When I arrived in the detention where Igboho was being held from Paris, he was first shackled. They were afraid that, due to his supernatural abilities, he may just vanish into thin air.
“The police warned me that if Igboho’s shackles were undone and he suddenly escaped, he (police officer) would be demoted and fired.

“The police officer stated he was warned that Igboho might vanish or transform into a cat, among other things, which prompted the officers to tie him up,” he told the Nation.
The lawyer, on the other hand, stated that it was because of his prompt involvement that the cops were able to free Igboho.
While attempting to fly to Germany, Igboho was recently detained in Cotonou.
After the Department of State Services (DSS) declared he wanted, the Yoruba nation liberation warrior fled to Cotonou.
After firearms were allegedly discovered at his home in Ibadan, Oyo State, the DSS proclaimed Igboho wanted.
