Southern Governors To Meet In Enugu Thursday

The 17 governors of Southern Nigeria will meet in Enugu State on Thursday, September 16, 2021, for their third summit this year.

iexclusive News Nigeria reports that Governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi is hosting the meeting, which will take place at Government House in Enugu.

The first and second meetings of the Southern Governors,which discussed regional and national concerns, were held in the states of Delta and Lagos, respectively.

The governors set a September timetable for the implementation of the open grazing prohibition at the Lagos summit, according to this online news outlet.

A bill to that effect has already been enacted into law in Enugu and a few other states.
