Why White Money Could Win The N90M Grand Prize On #BBNaija Season 6
The BBNaija season six finale has arrived after weeks of intense drama and intrigue.
Iexclusivenews Nigeria reports that the ‘Shine Ya Eye’ edition opened with less engagement than last year due to the suspension of Twitter’s operations and an unremarkable start.
However, the event quickly regained its usual buzz. Now that the competition is down to its last week and hours before the winner is announced, all eyes are on who will win the N90 million grand prize.
White Money, real name Hazel Oyeze Onou, is one of the housemates many would lay a fortune on to be this year’s winner ahead of the finale on Sunday.
The entrepreneur rose from relative obscurity to become one of the most talked-about roommates, and he appears to be on his way to winning the grand prize.
Examine how the 29-year-old photographer rose to be a significant candidate for the show’s big prize and why he might win.
1. The ‘cooking approach’ and White Money
He who fails to plan, plans to fail, is a truth of the saying White Money. Winning the hearts of other housemates and the show’s lovers is everything but easy in a game with so many distinct characters.
However, the businessman arrived with a plan. White Money is no stranger to cooking, having previously run a restaurant, and his culinary prowess was one of his show’s biggest assets.

From the start of the show, the businessman established himself as the go-to person in the house for food-related matters, winning the hearts of many of his coworkers in the process.
When the other housemates were asleep after a task or a party, the Enugu-born entrepreneur could be seen in the kitchen washing plates, preparing meals, and tidying up.
He quickly drew the attention of the show’s fans, notably campaigners for gender equality in the home, in a society where such actions are uncommon.
2. Whitemoney and Pere
The showdown between White Money and Pere is one of the biggest features of this year’s BBNaija.
When Pere became the head of house, he requested a change in the status quo since he was not happy with White Money handling all of the kitchen labor in the house (HoH).
White Money was accused by the 36-year-old visual artist and actor of utilizing “kitchen monopoly” to sway the hearts of others in the ‘Shine Ya Eye’ residence, according to the 36-year-old.
“I know he (White Money) is not complaining but he has to relax. Another individual will be in charge of the kitchen and others can assist. If the next HoH wishes to continue the trend, then it’s fine,” he had said.
“The whole essence of this is to reduce monopoly. I’m very direct about this because the kitchen monopoly is not healthy. I hate anything monopoly.”
The development, which led to a fight between the two, caused a firestorm of criticism from Pere’s fellow housemates and show’s lovers.
The fight boosted White Money’s fame, as his handling of the situation won over many new followers.
It also helped him get more support from his housemates, who had previously denounced Pere’s actions after they backfired and caused a food management issue in the home.
If he wins the show’s big prize, the episode will undoubtedly be remembered as one of the causes that contributed to the show’s fans’ positive feelings toward him.
Despite the bad consequences, it is worth noting that the confrontation increased Pere’s renown since he was able to effectively handle the negative view of him at the time as a “dictator.”
