Ifunanya ‘Baddest Lawyer’ Responds to NBA Petition Over Her Social Media Lifestyle [Video]

Ifunanya Excel Grant, a popular model and controversial lawyer, has finally broken her silence on the NBA petition against her over her social media lifestyle.

iexclusivenews reports that the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) had filed a complaint against her and brought her before the Legal Practitioners Disciplinary Committee (LPDC) for allegedly violating the professional ethics of lawyers by posting provocative and suggestive photos and videos on social media.

Aba NBA Branch Disowns Ifunanya

Following the NBA petition, the Aba branch of the NBA had issued a statement denying any knowledge or affiliation with Ifunanya, who claimed to be a lawyer from Abia State University. The statement also urged the public to disregard any information or representation made by her as a lawyer.

Ifunanya Says She Is Not a Practicing Lawyer

In the midst of this controversy, Ifunanya, who had been quiet on the matter, has decided to speak up. In a video that was shared online, she said that she only studied law at the university, but did not practice law and had no intention of doing so in the future. She also mentioned her roles as an actor, model, and upcoming rap artiste.

She further revealed that the controversial media contents that usually circulated on Twitter were not posted by her since she was not on the platform.

She said;

“My official statement to the NBA And Nigerians. Please I’m not the one on Twitter I have never been in Twitter.

I have been silent for so long because I’m not the type to talk too much but it’s finally time I speak up & clear my name.
