Police Summon NLC President Over Terrorism Charges

(iexclusivenews) – The Nigeria Police Force has issued a stern invitation to Joe Ajaero, the President of the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC), demanding his presence at the Intelligence Response Team (IRT) headquarters in Abuja on Tuesday, August 20.

The invitation stems from an ongoing investigation into allegations of criminal conspiracy, terrorism financing, treasonable felony, subversion, and cybercrime.

The Deputy Commissioner of Police in charge of the IRT issued the invitation letter, signed by Assistant Commissioner of Police Adamu Mu’azu, on Saturday, August 19.

The letter explicitly stated that Ajaero must appear before the IRT team leader at 10:00 AM on the specified date.
