Is Ethereum really the best blockchain to form a DAO?

Adobe Behance users can now showcase Solana (SOL) nonfungible tokens (NFTs) on their profiles.

As users can now connect their Phantom wallet to their Behance accounts.

iexclusivenews reports that Phantom is a Solana wallet built for decentralized finance, or DeFi, applications as well as for NFTs.

QuickNode, a Web3 infrastructure platform, helped build out this feature with Adobe on Solana.

Behance creators can now display their NFTs minted on the Ethereum (ETH) blockchain within their profiles.

However, William Allen, Adobe vice president in charge of Behance, stated on Twitter.

That many of Behance’s users may no longer want to associate with Ethereum, due to concerns about its high energy consumption and gas costs.

Allen tweeted that Solana is a proof-of-stake chain that overcomes these issues.

Claiming that a single Solana transaction “needs as much energy as a Google search and costs a fraction of a penny.”

Because it lets artists to “experiment with NFTs in an eco-friendly and low-cost method.”

In October 2021, Behance became the first platform to allow artists to link their crypto wallets and NFTs to their Behance profiles.

At the time, Adobe also teamed with the NFT marketplaces Rarible, OpenSea, KnownOrigin, and SuperRare. To safeguard digital artists by publishing provenance data as part of its “Content Authenticity Initiative.”

On Twitter, Allen stated that Solana addresses will be added to Photoshop’s Content Credentials tool.

To prevent NFT artwork from being copied and to guarantee due attribution is provided.

QuickNode permits Adobe to rent access to the Solana blockchain, as opposed to building and maintaining its own node.

According to its website, QuickNode is the top Solana node service provider and it powers more than 50% of the ecosystem.
