Anambra Decides 2021: Live Results From 21 Local Government Areas

The Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, is already receiving results from the various Local Government Areas, or LGAs, for the governorship election in Anambra State.

In practically all polling units, INEC personnel have completed the voting process, and ballot counting has begun in front of the voters.

For logistical considerations, the electoral umpire had extended voting and other election operations to Sunday, November 7, 2021

The battle to become the next governor of Anambra State has been fiercely fought between the candidates of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Andy Uba, All Progressives Grand Alliance, APGA, Prof. Charles Soludo, and Valentine Ozigbo of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, according to iexclusive News Nigeria.

Prof. Chukwuma Soludo, the former Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), who is the APGA governorship candidate, has already won some of the LGAs, according to iexclusive News Nigeria.

Anambra State, on the other hand, is divided into 21 Local Government Areas, with INEC personnel still collecting data for the remaining 17 LGAs.
