Iexclusive News Nigeria reports that Anita Okoye, the wife of Paul Okoye, the former rock group Psquare’s Nigerian singer, has filed for divorce.
Anita and Paul Okoye met at university and fell in love.
Anita has requested the breakup of their marriage in a court document obtained exclusively by Pulse.
In the legal document, she also advised her now-divorced husband to file a challenge to the petition if he was dissatisfied with it.
For months, there had been rumors about the couple’s breakup.
Anita ignited divorce rumors in April when it was revealed that she had moved to the United States with their three children.
In 2019, she was accused of buying aphrodisiacs to keep her marriage together by a prominent aphrodisiac salesman. Later, the vendor took the story down from Instagram.
Anita and Paul, who met at university and fell in love, wedded in a lavish wedding ceremony in Port Harcourt in 2014.
Andre, their first child, was born the previous year. Nadia and Nathan, their twins, were born in 2017.
