Tinubu Slips Again, Screams “God bless PD-APC”

Bola Tinubu, the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential candidate for 2023, made a gaffe during the launch of his campaign in Jos, Plateau, on Tuesday.

To the surprise of supporters, Mr. Tinubu concluded his speech at the rally by saying, “God bless Nigeria.” God bless PD…,” he said before returning to his speech to say “APC.”

This is yet another gaffe by Mr. Bola Tinubu, who has made numerous outright false and incoherent statements since launching his presidential campaign.

Mr. Tinubu praised Kaduna governor Nasir El-Rufai for transforming his state’s fortunes from a “rotten situation into a bad one” in October.

Previously, the APC presidential candidate had forgotten how to pronounce his party’s name, referring to APC members as members of the “Action Group” party.

“And the commitment for us as members of the Action Group,”

Mr. Bola Tinubu said in a viral video seen on social media in July while addressing members of his party.

Mr. Tinubu stated in March that 50 million youths would be recruited into the Nigerian army to address the country’s high unemployment rate.

When questioned about the feasibility of his idea days later, he claimed it was a slip of the tongue.

Mr. Bola Tinubu claimed in April that Nigerians’ Permanent Voter Cards had “expired,” a claim that the Independent National Electoral Commission refuted.

However, iexclusivenews Nigeria reports that Mr. Tinubu’s gaffes have been linked to his frail health, which has remained a sticking point in his ambition to lead Nigeria’s affairs.
