Apostle Suleman: Gunmen Attack Convoy Kill 6 In Edo

Apostle Suleman, the general overseer of Omega Fire Ministries International convoy was attacked in Edo State on Friday by unknown gunmen. 

iexclusivenews reports that the gunmen killed six people, including three police officers.

Around 5:00 p.m., the incident occurred at Water Tanker Junction on Warrake Road in the Auchi region of Edo State.

Gunmen ambushed Apostle Suleman’s convoy as it was traveling to Edo State for a ministry after returning from an international trip.

Three police officers and three employees are said to have been slain during the minutes-long, intermittent shooting by the assailants.

The attacked car’s tires deflated as a result of the bullet damage, which was all over it.

A female domestic staff member is currently receiving medical care, according to Chidi Nwabuzor, the police spokesman in Edo.

Mr Chidi Nwabuzor also stated that six individuals, including three police officers, were slain during the incident.

He claimed that the policemen from the Auchi police station chased the criminals and killed one of them with a gunshot.

“At 5:00 p.m of today, the convoy of Apostle Johnson Suleman of Omega Fire Ministry was attacked at Auchi town.

“Three policemen were killed, two civilian drivers, a female civilian staff and one of the female staff is on discharge now.

“Immediately the divisional police officer in charge of Auchi responded to that distress call and gunned down one of the hoodlums. He recovered one of their vehicles.

“Aggressive manhunt of those criminals who fled from the scene is ongoing,” Mr Nwabuzor said.
