Expressing the group’s position as he led other members on a courtesy visit to the Edo State Government House, Mohammed Baba, Secretary of Sarkin Hausawa of Benin, explained that most of them were born in Benin City.

He further acknowledged that the former governor of Kano State, @KwankwasoRM was their leader and has told them to support him and his deputy. Come September 19, 2020, we will make sure that we all vote for Obaseki and his deputy he said.
In my remark, I thanked the group for their support, noting that although they were Edo citizens, they do not have to be Edo indigenes to benefit from the government because they had businesses and paid their taxes here.
