Asari Dokubo: See What Fani-Kayode Said about Nnamdi Kanu when he visited Me

Mujahid Asari Dokubo, a former militant commander, has revealed how Femi Fani-Kayode, the former Minister of Aviation, linked him to Nnamdi Kanu, the leader of the proscribed Indigenous People of Biafra .

iexclusive News Nigeria report that Asari Dokubo, in a video circulating on social media, called Kanu a “thief” and promised to deal with him.

He accuses Kanu of profiteering from the Biafra “battle” because he has no other source of income.

Asari Dokubo stated he saw Fani-Kayode at the Bayelsa Government House in Yenagoa, where they discussed IPOB’s collaboration with ex-militants.

“Fellow Biafrans, you may hear criminals discussing countries on the radio. We asked folks who sent money to them, and now they’re telling us about India and Russia. Is this what an audited account is? Under the criminal Nnamdi Kanu, Biafra would be like this.”

“A criminal named Nnamdi Kanu stated that money was transferred to me via Omiomio. They delivered money to me in Cotonou, he added, and they gave me N20 million naira.

“We’re waiting for the evidence to arrive. They came to Cotonou to meet with me, and I welcomed them with open arms, feeding and lodging them. They didn’t even bring me a nickel.

There are individuals from all throughout the Niger Delta, not simply Ijaws, as the photo depicts.

They ate my meals, stayed at the lodging I bought for, and then left without bringing a single Kobo.

“I had paid multiple hospital fees for IPOB members who had been injured in various locations,” he said.

I’ve put my life on the line and sent lawyers to prison centers to attempt to get them released, and there are living witnesses who can attest to this, but Nnamdi Kanu believes that since he’s a thief, he can say whatever he wants.

“The Igbos let themselves be duped… They come out and bash them when these figures speak for you, when others want to talk… You don’t have the bravery to confront them.

You refuse to speak with others when they request it. These individuals do not represent the Igbo people. Tell us who represents Igbos if they don’t represent Igbos.

Then take a stand against them. First and foremost, I’d like to inquire of Nnamdi Kanu: did I, Asari Dokubo contact you, did I search for you? You were the one who went looking for me.

Fani-Kayode was the first person you sent to me. He approached me and said that we needed to collaborate, that we needed to come together.

I’m not sure where else in Ijaw land he went, but he came to see me at the Government House Bayelsa.

We’d been communicating, and he’d been saddened by the turn of events since the problem began.
