Angel, BBNaija’s housemate, has stated that she was sad before the reality program.

This was mentioned by Angel on Sunday night while providing a quick introduction to her housemates.

She became despondent, she claims, after her first lover died in 2019.

Angel, did not, however, reveal the circumstances behind his demise.

“My ever the first lover died in 2019, and it had a toll on my mental health,” the 21-year-old stated. I began self-harming.

“One of the reasons I got myself here is because of my search for a place in the world.

“His death affected me, and I was melancholy for a while, but I’m grateful to be alive.

“Coming to Big Brother taught me that life isn’t a slog and gave me hope.”

She did clarify, though, that she is now single and eager to be in a relationship.
